On April 3, 2019, Cui Wenbin, Deputy Secretary-General of the International Education Committee of the China Education Development Strategy Society, and his delegation visited the college to conduct research on the college's international exchanges and other related work. In attendance were Jian Lu, Secretary of the College Party Committee, Liu Zhong, President of the College, Chen Zhihai, Deputy Party Secretary, and heads of relevant departments from the International Cooperation Office, Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, and Haitian Company. The symposium was chaired by Men Jiang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Leshan Municipal People's Government.

President Liu Zhong first extended a warm welcome to Deputy Secretary-General Cui Wenbin and his delegation on behalf of the college and provided an introduction to the college's development and international exchange activities in recent years.

During the symposium, Cui Wenbin conducted in-depth research and understanding of the college's work related to the cultivation of international students in China, faculty and student exchanges abroad, overseas transfer programs for students, and overseas internships and employment.
