Asian Medical Doctors Association Sponsors Underprivileged Students at Leshan Vocational and Technical College

On the afternoon of November 19th, a delegation of nine people from the Asian Medical Doctors Association (AMDA) visited Leshan Vocational and Technical College. In the conference room on the second floor of the Baita Street Campus, AMDA awarded scholarships to 11 underprivileged students in the Nursing Department. Leshan Vocational and Technical College and the Asian Medical Doctors Association signed a friendly cooperation agreement.

AMDA awarded scholarships to 11 underprivileged students in the Nursing Department. The association stated that it would donate a monthly scholarship of 3,000 Japanese yen to each of the 11 students in the Nursing Department of Leshan Vocational and Technical College who are both academically excellent and financially needy, until their graduation.

Leshan Vocational and Technical College and AMDA signed a cooperation agreement. Both sides expressed their intention to actively conduct multi-faceted exchanges and cooperation and to make positive contributions to promoting friendly exchanges between China and Japan. They also exchanged views and explored cooperation in areas such as elderly care, environmental protection, student and faculty exchanges, and academic discussions in nursing.
