On May 26th, 2023, a delegation from Gyeongil University in South Korea, along with the head of the North America International Education Group, visited Leshan Vocational and Technical College for an exchange visit. The exchange symposium was held in Conference Room 2001 of the Academic Exchange Center. Attending the symposium were Zhou Qin, Vice President of Leshan Vocational and Technical College, as well as relevant heads from the Nursing College, Academic Affairs Office, and International College. Vice President Zhou Qin extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Gyeongil University and introduced the basic situation of the college, its history, distinctive programs, and international cooperation and exchange. She expressed her hope that the two universities would strengthen cooperation and exchanges in curriculum development and joint educational programs. Sun Dongho, Dean of the International Exchange College at Gyeongil University, introduced the educational programs at Gyeongil University, highly praised the learning and living environment at Leshan Vocational and Technical College, and expressed his desire to enhance cooperation and jointly promote development.

During the meeting, Vice President Zhou Qin and Dean Sun Dongho signed a memorandum of understanding on friendly cooperation between the two universities. Participants from both sides also had detailed discussions on faculty and student exchanges, as well as jointly hosting Sino-foreign cooperative educational programs.
