On the morning of March 3, 2016, Professor Chen Yueyun from Hsi Lai University in Los Angeles, USA, visited our college. Secretary Jian Lu had an in-depth conversation with Professor Chen Yueyun in the office regarding cooperation between the two institutions. Subsequently, an exchange symposium was held in the conference room on the third floor of the college. Attending the symposium were the college's Deputy Party Secretary Chen Zhihai, as well as the heads and relevant staff members of the International Affairs Office, Publicity Department, Human Resources Office, Research Office, Planning and Finance Office, and the Department of Finance and Management.

During the meeting, both sides introduced the professional programs, talent cultivation, faculty strength, and international cooperation and exchange of their respective institutions. They also had a preliminary discussion on the content of cooperation in international exchanges, academic research, and professional development.

At the end of the symposium, Deputy Secretary Chen Zhihai presented Professor Chen Yueyun with a certificate of appointment as an adjunct professor on behalf of the college.

In the afternoon, Professor Chen Yueyun delivered an academic report titled "American Higher Vocational Education—Trends and Development" in the 3D training lab of the Tourism Department of our college. Middle-level cadres, administrative staff, and some faculty members of the college attended the lecture.
