Recently, Leshan Vocational and Technical College was awarded a Grade B accreditation in the International Student Education Quality Accreditation for the first half of 2025, organized by the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), with a validity period of six years. This marks the college's first participation in and passing of this national-level quality accreditation, signifying that its international student education and management standards have met nationally recognized criteria and obtained authoritative recognition.The International Student Education Quality Accreditation was approved by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). Launched by the Ministry of Education in 2015 and entrusted to CEAIE for implementation, it is carried out in accordance with relevant normative documents and serves as a key initiative to promote the high-quality development of international student education in China. This accreditation was conducted strictly in line with the *Rules for the Quality Accreditation of Higher Education for International Students in China* (CEAIEQA-HEAIS-R-202001), which not only served as a comprehensive "check-up" for Leshan Vocational and Technical College's talent cultivation for international students but also provided an opportunity for improvement. Taking this opportunity, the college reviewed all links including the recruitment, teaching, and management of international students, aiming to rectify and optimize these aspects and further establish a more scientific quality assurance system.With this high-quality accreditation as a new starting point, the college will adhere to the strategic vision of "building a more internationally competitive international student education system, and developing China into a major global study destination and a desirable place for outstanding young people worldwide", and continuously open up new prospects for its international student education work.
