On the morning of March 29, the 2019 Leshan City Foreign - related Units Symposium, organized by the Leshan Municipal Public Security Bureau's Exit - Entry Administration Detachment, was held at the Academic Exchange Center of the college. Representatives from more than 30 foreign - related units across the city attended the symposium, including the Exit - Entry Administration Detachment of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Municipal Government, district and county exit - entry authorities, Leshan Vocational and Technical College, Leshan Normal University, Southwest Jiaotong University's Emei Campus, and Chengdu University of Technology's Engineering Technology College. The meeting was chaired by Commissar Zhao Rongrong of the Exit - Entry Administration Detachment.

At the meeting, Deputy Party Secretary Chen Zhihai of the college delivered a speech on behalf of the college. He introduced the college's international exchanges and cooperation, as well as its international student education, to the participants. He expressed his gratitude to the Exit - Entry Administration departments at all levels of the Municipal Public Security Bureau for their strong support in managing foreign nationals at Leshan Vocational and Technical College. He also stated that the college would continue to manage foreign nationals on campus well under the guidance and support of the Exit - Entry Administration.

Commissar Zhao Rongrong reported on the situation of foreign - related units and the management of foreign nationals in the city. She emphasized that foreign affairs are of great importance and that foreign - related units should strengthen information communication with the Exit - Entry Administration departments. She called for the improvement of foreign national management mechanisms, the formulation of effective emergency plans for major sudden incidents, and public opinion handling mechanisms to eliminate "three illegal" issues and to effectively manage foreign nationals in the city, thereby improving service quality and standards.

The Exit - Entry Administration of the Leshan Municipal Public Security Bureau comprehensively evaluated and scored the foreign national management mechanisms, management records, daily management and services, and illegal and disciplinary violations of foreign nationals in dozens of foreign - related units across the city. Based on the results, four levels of foreign national management credibility units were selected. Our college was awarded the first - class certificate of credibility among the first batch of foreign - related units in the city.
