​International College (Office of International Cooperation) Conducts the "First Class of the Semester" Thematic Education Activity

At 13:00 on March 23rd, the International College held the "First Class of the Semester" thematic education activity for international students in room 2C102, themed "Starting a New Journey, Empowering the New Semester." The event was led by Teacher Xie Yuqin from the International Student Office. Attending the activity were Peng Yuanyuan, Deputy Secretary of the International College's Direct Branch, Teacher Zhang Jingjing from the International Student Management Office, the class counselor for the 2022 Chinese Language Class, and 78 international students.


During the "First Class of the Semester," Teacher Xie organized a comprehensive study session for all international students, using a combination of text and images to explain key provisions of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Entry and Exit Administration" and the procedures for obtaining a residence permit. She also covered important content from the "Regulations on the Management of International Students at Leshan Vocational and Technical College", the "Regulations on the Management of International Student Dormitories", and the "Student Handbook of Leshan Vocational and Technical College". Additionally, she conducted education on personal safety, property safety, traffic safety, and cyber security for international students. The Fourth International Student Union was established during the event, and all international students were encouraged to diligently study their professional knowledge, actively learn about China's national conditions, understand contemporary China, and actively seek career development opportunities on international cooperation platforms between China and other countries. The event was lively and concluded successfully with a safety education game.


Through this activity, all international students gained a deeper understanding of China's laws and regulations, as well as the college's rules and policies. Their awareness of safety was enhanced, and a foundation was laid for maintaining normal teaching and educational order.
