The ceremony began with a documentary showcasing the Nepalese students' journey of learning, interning, and living in Leshan.
President Liu Zhong's Address:
President Liu Zhong delivered the opening speech at the graduation ceremony. He first extended his congratulations to the eight Nepalese students who had successfully completed their studies. Quoting the Chinese proverb "Even if separated by a thousand miles, fate can bring people together," President Liu emphasized that the students' gathering at Leshan Vocational and Technical College was a special kind of destiny. He described the college as a "warm home" for the Nepalese students and welcomed them to visit often.
He then expressed his sincere gratitude to the Jin Haitang Grand Hotel and Emei Century Sunshine Grand Hotel, which had hosted the Nepalese students for their internships, as well as to the hotel instructors and all those who had worked hard for the students. President Liu highlighted that this was a unique form of "university-enterprise cooperation" and marked the beginning of internationalized cooperation. He hoped that both sides would continue to deepen and expand such cooperation, attracting more students from countries along the "Belt and Road" to study and exchange.
In conclusion, President Liu offered his heartfelt hopes for the future of the Nepalese students. He encouraged them to share the remarkable achievements of China's rapid development and their experiences in Leshan with their families, friends, and classmates upon returning home. He urged them to become friendly ambassadors for China, spreading Chinese culture and serving as the most vivid promotional ambassadors for Leshan Vocational and Technical College around the world.
Hotel Representatives' Speeches:
Ms. Wang Yan, General Manager of Jin Haitang Grand Hotel, and Mr. Shao Yongjun, Director of Human Resources at Emei Century Sunshine Grand Hotel, each summarized the internship experiences of the Nepalese students at their respective hotels. They expressed their fondness for the students and noted that hosting international students had enhanced the hotels' international awareness and broadened the horizons of their employees. The presence of foreign students had also revitalized the hotels' external image with new vitality and cultural exchange. Both representatives hoped that such university-enterprise cooperation would continue long-term and welcomed the Nepalese students to return to Leshan and work in the hotels after graduation.

Li Na, a Nepalese student, represented all the international students and delivered a bilingual speech in Chinese and English. She recounted the experiences of the past nine months, including studying at Leshan Vocational and Technical College and interning at Jin Haitang and Century Sunshine hotels.
