​President Maehara Hideo of Joshi Toki University in Japan Visits Our College

At 10:00 a.m. on September 13, President Maehara Hideo of the Joshi Toki University in Japan, along with three other members of his delegation, visited our college. They were accompanied by Liu Jianrong, Chairman of Sichuan Zhongliu International, Yin Xiangyin, General Manager, and three other colleagues. In the conference room on the third floor of the college, President Liu Zhong, Vice President Tang Liu Hong, heads and relevant staff members of the International Affairs Office, Academic Affairs Office, Nursing Department, and Haitian Company participated in the exchange symposium. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Party Secretary Chen Zhihai.


During the meeting, President Liu Zhong extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Joshi Toki University and introduced in detail the basic situation of Leshan, as well as the college's history, professional programs, faculty, and other aspects to the guests. President Maehara also provided a comprehensive introduction to the educational philosophy, academic system, and professional characteristics of Joshi Toki University. Located in Tokyo, Japan, Joshi Toki University has a history of over 70 years and offers programs related to welfare, nursing, healthcare, and early childhood education.


At the symposium, participants engaged in an in-depth discussion on various aspects of health and elderly care talent cultivation between China and Japan. Both sides agreed to learn from each other's strengths during the exchange and cooperation, and to collaborate in establishing standards for health and elderly care talent cultivation, developing related professional programs, designing curricula, and facilitating exchanges and learning among faculty and students.


After the meeting, President Liu Zhong and President Maehara Hideo signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.
