On November 10th, 2017, a delegation led by Sunil Kumar Bhusal, Principal of Nepal’s Premier Hotel Vocational School, visited our college. An exchange symposium was held in Conference Room 424. Attending the symposium were Jie Lu, Secretary of the College Party Committee, Chen Zhihai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, as well as relevant heads from the International Cooperation Office, Human Resources Office, Academic Affairs Office, Department of Basic and Public Courses, and the Tourism Department. Also present were the four Nepalese international students from Premier Hotel Vocational School who are studying at our college (currently interning at Jin Haitang Grand Hotel). The symposium was chaired by Huang Xiaoli, Director of the Party Office and International Cooperation Office.
During the meeting, Secretary Jie Lu and Principal Sunil Kumar Bhusal signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. Chen Zhihai extended a warm welcome to Principal Sunil and his delegation on behalf of the college and provided a detailed introduction to the college’s academic programs, faculty, and the new campus. Principal Sunil introduced the academic system and program offerings of Premier Hotel Vocational School and expressed his desire to further strengthen and expand cooperation with our college. Both sides focused on discussing short-term study and internship opportunities for students from Premier Hotel Vocational School at our college, as well as faculty exchanges. They also reached a preliminary agreement on establishing a Chinese language training center at Premier Hotel Vocational School.
After the meeting, Principal Sunil Kumar Bhusal visited four Nepalese students interning at Century Sunshine Grand Hotel in Mount Emei.
