On the afternoon of March 6, 2019, a delegation of 55 people led by Sutasan Rangkao, Deputy Director of the Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand, visited our college. Accompanying them were Yu Li, Secretary of the Leshan Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda, Vice Mayor Liao Kequan, Secretary Jian Lu, President Liu Zhong, Deputy Secretary Chen Zhihai, and leaders from relevant departments and schools.
The delegation first visited the college auditorium and the multi - functional training hall. They learned about the college's general situation and watched students' performances of traditional Chinese dance, lion and dragon dances, and Emei martial arts.
Then, they visited the photovoltaic new energy virtual simulation experience room and the multi - crystal silicon production simulation factory.
At the college library, the delegation presented gifts to the Thai international students on campus and asked about their life and study.
Sutasan Rangkao expressed his gratitude for the college's care for the Thai international students. He said that the visit had given the delegation a deeper understanding of Leshan Vocational and Technical College and that they had gained a lot and benefited greatly. He hopes that Muay Thai, with its long history and world - wide fame, will have the opportunity to be introduced to Leshan in the future. He also welcomes experts and teachers of Emei martial arts to go to Thailand to exchange and learn from each other.
