Japanese Delegation of Nursing Homes Observes Rehabilitation Therapy Course Teaching in the Medical and Nursing Department

At 3:00 p.m. on April 28, a six-member delegation from Japanese nursing institutions visited the Multi-functional Classroom 1 in the Medical and Nursing Department's training room to observe the teaching session. The Japanese representatives observing the class included Tokunaga Tokuyoshi, representative of Tokunaga Medical and Welfare Group; Tokunaga Terumi, chairman of the Tokunaga Medical and Welfare Research Foundation; Taniguchi Satoko, president of the Japan Welfare College; Narasaki Motohiko, director of the Strategic Business Planning Office of the Japan Medical University; Kobayashi Kazuyoshi, section chief of the Operations Business Group; Zhang Jun, director and general manager of the Japan branch of China International Talent Company; and interpreter Wang Jia. The teaching session was led by Teacher Cheng Tao from the Medical and Nursing Department, with the class consisting of 20 students from the General Nursing Class 15-1.

Before the class officially began, Teacher Cheng Tao and all the students welcomed the Japanese delegation with warm applause. The topic of Teacher Cheng's lecture was "Special Oral Care." Her presentation was engaging, easy to understand, and delivered in a way that was accessible to all. Throughout the class, there was frequent interaction between the teacher and students, who participated actively and spoke confidently. The students' enthusiastic performance in class was recognized and encouraged by the Japanese representatives, creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere in the classroom.

On the afternoon of April 28 at 4:00 p.m., a delegation of seven members from Japanese elderly care institutions visited our college, accompanied by Mr. Zhang Jun, General Manager of the Japan branch of China International Talent Company. In the conference room on the third floor of the college, the meeting was attended by Secretary Jian Lu of the College Party Committee, Vice President Tang Liu Hong, as well as heads and relevant staff members of the International Affairs Office, Publicity Department, Academic Affairs Office, Nursing Department, and the Affiliated Hospital. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Tang Liu Hong.

At the meeting, Secretary Jian Lu extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Japanese elderly care institutions and introduced the history of friendly exchanges between Leshan and Japan, as well as the basic situation of our college. Mr. Tokunaga Tokuyoshi, representative of the Tokunaga Medical and Welfare Group, introduced the basic situation of Japanese elderly care and provided an overview of the Tokunaga Medical and Welfare Group. Established in 1983, the Tokunaga Medical and Welfare Group has a total of 69 office locations related to health and elderly care in Rihō, Tokyo, and Sendai.

Through the symposium, both sides expressed their willingness to cooperate in the field of elderly care and had an in-depth exchange on issues such as the establishment of health and elderly care standards, and the construction and curriculum setting of related professional programs in China and Japan.
