From October 20 to November 9, 2024, four teachers from Leshan Vocational and Technical College's "National Innovation Team" - Cui Mingxian, Mei Yan, Zhou Hu, and Quan Huiying - participated in the Ministry of Education's "Master Craftsmen" Innovation Team International Training Program (New Materials) in Germany. After 21 days of training, they returned home smoothly.
The training was organized by the China Education International Exchange Association and implemented by the Baden - Württemberg Center for Economic and Educational Cooperation. It covered Germany's dual - track vocational education system and methods, advanced new materials technology, Industry 4.0, and digitalization. Through classroom teaching, visits, and discussions, the teachers gained a deep understanding of Germany's advanced vocational education concepts and practical experience. They also studied and exchanged ideas with 19 teachers from six vocational colleges, broadening their international perspectives and cross - cultural communication skills.
In addition, the teacher team visited BASF, Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences, and the Currenta Chemical Park's vocational school and training center. They explored Germany's advanced technologies and innovative practices in new materials, chemicals, and intelligent manufacturing from various dimensions, including enterprise digital transformation, academic research, industrial collaboration innovation, and professional talent training model innovation. This provided new insights for improving practical training teaching quality.
The visiting team said that the training updated their educational concepts, enabled them to master advanced teaching methods and course design skills, and exchange team - building experiences with teachers from other schools. The school will use this opportunity to strengthen cooperation and exchange with international enterprises and institutions, introduce foreign advanced educational resources, promote educational and teaching innovation and reform, cultivate more high - quality technical and skilled talents, and provide talent support for local economic and social development and industrial upgrading.
